As the CEO of Pullman Regional Hospital, I want to express concern and gratitude for you during this unprecedented time in healthcare, as well as provide a few updates on Pullman Regional Hospital’s proactive measures to manage COVID-19 in our community. At this time there are no confirmed cases in Whitman County.
Most importantly, I hope you are doing what you can to protect yourself, your family, and your community. Our supporters are part of our Pullman Regional Hospital family; you matter to us.
I can assure you we are doing everything possible to protect the community and our most vulnerable population.
Thanks to people like you, we are fulfilling this mission.
As a leader in healthcare, Pullman Regional Hospital is taking extraordinary measures to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Like many other businesses and organizations, we have taken important steps to safeguard our employees and our supporters, including closing the Red Sage Café to the public, putting limitations on visitors to the hospital and screening every person entering the hospital. We’re educating our workforce on how to stay safe and connecting virtually instead of traveling and meeting face-to-face. Our staff is receiving training in other areas to provide the best patient experience given the safety restrictions we’ve imposed. It is truly an “all hands on deck” time, and our staff and our providers are going above and beyond to be creative and resourceful.
We also have cancelled or postponed community events that put people in close proximity to one another and moved others online so we can continue supporting patients and families and our important life-saving work. We feel a deep obligation to our communities and to all of you to do our part to slow the spread of this virus.
It's challenging times like these which remind us how much it means to Pullman Regional Hospital patients that supporters like you are with them in their journey of hope and healing. Your generosity means so much to Pullman Regional Hospital, now more than ever. You play a valuable role in the lives of people you may never meet.
We remain steadfast to our mission to communicate with people and stay connected during times of uncertainty. More information on our hospital operations specific to COVID-19 are on our website www.pullmanregional.org.
